We have all lived through the most extraordinary, unprecedented year. All of our lives have been completely transformed. Many of us have lost family, close friends, and colleagues to the pandemic. None of us could have predicted how 2020 turned out, and no one really knows what the next few months will bring.
Despite everything, we must care for, protect, and strengthen each other. Only by working together will we survive.
Whatever your race, nationality, or belief system the one thing that unites us all is our longing for peace, good health, and a return to a normal life.
This holiday season, despite everything we may have lost, let us concentrate on all that we still have — and be thankful.
“No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.”
I heard “Deep Peace” (A Gaelic Blessing) by John Rutter for the first time this week, and thought it perfectly expressed what so many of us are feeling. I hope you enjoy my recording and video.
Wishing you and yours the peace that passes all understanding during this extraordinary holiday season and throughout the coming year.
With my warmest regards,
